Promise Yourself
"To be so strong that nothing
can disturb your peace of mind.
To talk health, happiness, and prosperity
to every person you meet.
To make all your friends feel
that there is something in them
To look at the sunny side of everything
and make your optimism come true.
To think only the best, to work only for the best,
and to expect only the best.
To be just as enthusiastic about the success of others
as you are about your own.
To forget the mistakes of the past
and press on to the greater achievements of the future.
To wear a cheerful countenance at all times
and give every living creature you meet a smile.
To give so much time to the improvement of yourself
that you have no time to criticize others.
To be too large for worry, too noble for anger, too strong for fear,
and too happy to permit the presence of trouble.
To think well of yourself and to proclaim this fact to the world,
not in loud words but great deeds.
To live in faith that the whole world is on your side
so long as you are true to the best that is in you.”

I have spent years collecting quotes. Reading them. Re-reading them. Over and over and over. Sometimes, reading other's perspective allows me to change mine. In hopes some of these apply to anyone besides myself....enjoy! Keep them in a safe place so you can write them on your mirror with dry erase markers.......i mean, that's completely normal, yes?! :)
"I do believe we're all connected. I do believe in positive energy. I do believe in the power of prayer. I do believe in putting good out into the world. And I believe in taking care of each other."-H. Fierstein
Once you replace negative thoughts with positive ones, you'll start having positive results.-Willie Nelson
You've done it before and you can do it now. See the positive possibilities. Redirect the substantial energy of your frustration and turn it into positive, effective, unstoppable determination.-Ralph Marston
It may be hard for an egg to turn into a bird: it would be a jolly sight harder for it to learn to fly while remaining an egg. We are like eggs at present. And you cannot go on indefinitely being just an ordinary, decent egg. We must be hatched or go bad.

Annnd...my most favorite:
“The strength of patience hangs on our capacity
to believe that God is up to something good for us in all our delays and detours.”
